Day 12, BMW Leipzig

Today, we will visit another highlight of the world tour, BMW’s Leipzig plant, home of BMW’s electric i3 and i6, and the center of BMW’s CFRP carbon fiber production.

This is the plant that was crowned “Best Factory in Europe,” it received the “Lean & Green Management Award,” and a few more. The BMW Leipzig plant is one of the most modern and sustainable car plants in the world. This is the plant that should have been on our list from the start, and now it is.

In the evening, we go to Dresden by bus. Overnight in Dresden.
